Emi and the flu

Yes, Emi has the flu...we thought that we had dodged it, but we hadn't! Emi was officially diagnosed with it last night after a wonderful swab in the nose! She is not allowed to go to school the rest of the week, and next week is spring break! She has spurts of energy where she feels well enough to sit at the computer and play. These bursts last around 45 minutes or so, then she needs to lie down again. Poor baby has been battling a high fever, cough, stuffy nose, head ache and all around feeling of yuckiness!!
Notice how red her arms are? Right after I took this picture I took her temperature: 102.7!! Yikes! More Children's Motrin and back to the couch she went!!
